Singapore Gaming Compeys

Just Asking fellow singaporean competitive gamers, does singapore actually have a competitive gaming scene? Apart from (ugh) Blackshot, I have not seen a single competition, etc Tf2, Cs, Dota.. Asking on behalf of my friend who's a competitive 1.6 player.

Also is there a sort of website with a schedule of upcoming competitions and venues?

On a side note, most arent posted online; check the bulletin boards at the bigger cybercafes in SG. (Iluma's one, cyberdome and i think e2max- im not sure abt the ones in the north). There was a HoN competition earlier in Feb this year at cyberdome.

Post here when you find any info cos a "website with a schedule of upcoming competitions and venues" would be HERE if anywhere, yet it is not possible if nobody contributes. NEED MORE NEWS.

community contribution is quite important. the more work the community puts in the more it'll help the scene, so the more you do, the higher your possible benefit.

every year at wcg, cs1.6 teams and dota teams magically rise from their graves to compete, only to disappear after the event. cs is pretty dead atm. dota i have no idea but there are tournaments now and then.

the competitive communities can be quite pathetic at times with their scared to lose attitude
