we post about them as soon as we get to know about them, and in this case it wasn't us who found it late, it was you who saw the post late.

Actually, I was also informed about this tournament by a Saudi Arabian admin on the last day of registration. He has told me that he would keep us informed of any future online KSA tournaments.

Atleast they don't support soccerteams... they have rules and regulations to stop that I bet.

I remember taking part in a Saudi League, and trust me leagues don't work here.. especially online. Reason is the huge gap in skill between teams, teams that lose 3 games in a row, just simply take out. Later on, no one showed up for our games... lol

Hey you should give them credit for actually trying.. how long has Xgames been around? Du been around? do you even have admins that track known players that get away with hacking? oh some of them do end up being admins as well. hohoho

The Saudis had a decent system, you could reach the head admins. and if you lost your password to your forum account, you won't be forced to visit http://www.weyak.ae atleast.

The last point was just a mere inside joke, don't take it too seriously.

So far, every biz or tourney proposal that I have seen in UAE, has all been hot air. Almost everyone in the Middle East is all talk, no action. Every organizer is always thinking about how fancy a "league" system will look and impress others with OVER 9000 teams, or how a new network of gaming cafes with amazing PCs, strippers, discotheque themed lights etc. is gonna attract a shitload of people and boost "gaming" in the region, but they are simply deluded. The only individuals who take a realistic approach in this whole 'gaming' scenario are the business people/entities who actually pour in money to support or sponsor an event or such. No one else wants to know what they're getting themselves into.
