Canadian University of Dubai are holding their first ever DOTA inter-university tournament. It will be held on Thursday, 25th March from 11am to 8pm at the university's block-D. Only 1 team from each college/university will be allowed, and that team will be representing the college/university.

MP3 players, need suggestions.

So I lost my iPod Shuffle somehow, probably stolen.

I'm planning on getting a good portable MP3 player, what brands do you suggest me to look for? NO-APPLE recommendations please. Shuffle is a great MP3 player, but iTunes just ruins it for me. and I won't buy the same model again.

I've looked into iRiver, great model designs, very portable. I haven't tested the UI yet.
Walkmans, I never touched the Sony ones, though I heard good things about them.

A friend of mine recommended me the Sansa Sandisk MP3 player, its very small, good portable device. You can increase the memory with an extermal MicroSD disk which is great. But its very cheaply designed, its cheap too so I shouldn't complain, it was around 185 AED when I checked.
Though the thing which was a let down for me was it does not support more than 128kbps.

Do other Mp3 players support more than 128kbps? or is it just normal?
Most of my songs are on mp3 format and are at least 192kbps.

What do you guys recommend from your personal experience, what brands should I trust, and remember No Zune or iPod recommendations here.
They might be cool, but its not what I'm looking for.

QUE CLUB CS 1.6 TOURNAMENT UPDATE

The Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament held in Que Club that was announced previously finished last night (at about 2 am). Since the teams that attended was not up to the expected number the prize money was AED 2,000 for winners and AED 1,000 for runner-up.

alawi was playing as a stand-in for whMsy who couldn't play because of other priorities.
In the second map of the semi-finals between Impulse and Mist, there was a quarrel between alawi and members of Team Mist regarding bad mouthing. This also involved Mist calling a forfeit in the very beginning of the second map, after playing a very close first map.

Just Asking fellow singaporean competitive gamers, does singapore actually have a competitive gaming scene? Apart from (ugh) Blackshot, I have not seen a single competition, etc Tf2, Cs, Dota.. Asking on behalf of my friend who's a competitive 1.6 player.
