Recently, 2 new gaming network cafes have opened in the United Arab Emirates.
Elite Gaming Network was recently opened in Al Ain. It is located behind Al Ain Mall, on Hilton street, Nyadat area. It has 30 computers, and currently has a 5v5 dedicated stage (10 computers), with 2 more stages coming soon. If I am not wrong it also has a separate section for online (internet) play, for World Of Warcraft etc. Fr!nGe, a local CS player, is the manager. The rate is AED10/hour, and there are special discounts the more hours you purchase.
They also have 2 online servers called the Elite Gaming Servers. Both are for CS1.6, one being a normal pub while the other is a 5v5 scrim server. One of these is hosted from a special dedicated machine at the cafe, while the other is hosted by Etisalat, a local ISP.
» Here are the IPs:
Elite-Cafe CS Pub - ???
Elite-Cafe CS Match - 86.96.195.80:27015
The Warrior chain of gaming cafes has also opened its latest branch in Dubai. This is inside the City Center (Deira) shopping mall. It's right beside the bowling area inside Magic Planet. The entire network is in an area that resembles a very wide rectangle, and all the computers are set up along the walls in a way that results in 13 batches of 5 computers each. The rate is AED10/hour, and there are special discounts the more hours you purchase.
