The Future Cafe in Al Ain hosted a Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament on August 13th, Friday. The final match was between Assassins List & iMPULSE. The first map (de_train) was a close match, as iMPULSE had to squeeze past A-List in overtime. Going on to the second map (de_inferno), iMPULSE managed to defeat A-List [16-10] and win the finals [2-0].
iMPULSE [ krona , sak , wMz , 3lawi , add1ct ] - AED 1500
Assassins List [ Smasher , zTara , U43.KB , Blanka , Danger ] - AED 500
The prize pot was reported to be AED 5000, but this was not true as the teams found out, and it was also terribly organised. Participant(s) from the tournament informed us about some things regarding the tournament that you can read here. Members of the NGU team were organising admins.
